What is the 6th Borough Market anyway?

Almost like the Garden Street Farmers Market, but bigger – The 6th Borough Market is a weekend market in Jersey City (behind city hall – Montgomery & Marin) which features arts & crafts, “highly curated” vintage items, various food vendors and kiddie activities. You can taste Milk Sugar Love too, while you’re at it!

Another good reason to visit, is so you can get your java fix from The Mod Cup Coffee guys, who seem hard to find these days. Worth the trip alone!

Have fun!

The market is great, but the name is abhorrent. JC Residents are sick and tired of the Sixth Borough moniker. It’s insulting and unoriginal and needs to stop. They really need to come up with a better name.

JC is its own, unique experience. We don’t need to be associated with NYC to be cool or amazing. So f’n lame, I swear…

Looks fun, will have to try it out this weekend. Have to get over to JC more often. The options are more diverse.
