Bowling for the Kids

Here’s a gallery with a few pictures that Erika Muller from Muller Insurance took of this past weekends charity bowling event.

1/19/2008 Reminder:

Not sure what your evening plans are tonight, but there are still some spots left for this charity bowling event. Plus, free fried food buffet!

I would have gone, but things changed last minute.

Mark your calendars for this great event to help the Hoboken University Medical Center make sick kids hospital stays a bit more bearable.

Bowling for the Kids

hoboken-bowling-for-kids-2008.jpgThe LBR (Liberty Board of REALTORS®) is pleased to offer tickets to its Second Annual Family and Friends “Bowling for the Kids” fund raiser on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the North Arlington Bowl-O-Drome (map). Join us for a fun-filled night of “Candlelight” bowling for the Pediatrics Department of Hoboken University Medical Center (formerly Saint Mary’s Hospital).

The cost is $65 per person which includes Steve’s hot buffet (from 8:30-9:30 p.m.) three games of “Scotch Doubles” bowling and shoe rental. For those who do not bowl but wish to champion this great cause there is a $35 per person hot buffet only.

As you know, when it comes to caring for children, Hoboken University Medical Center is second to none. From its fast-track pediatric emergency room program to their soothing inpatient unit, they set the standard in children’s medicine. The proceeds from this event will continue to fund cable TV for the ward, which our board had installed last year.

Sully, if that’s what you’re concerned with, no, you really aren’t up for charity.

How long does it take to get a plate of food, possibly seconds?

why’s the bowling all the way out in North Arlington if it’s for the Hoboken Hospital?

jeeze, I’m all up for charity and who doesn’t love to bowl but the buffet only lasts for 1 hour and if I’m not bowling I’m paying $35 for it? INSANE!!
