Tim Occhipinti and “One Hoboken” Enter race for Mayor and Council

Last week, 4th Ward Councilman Tim Occhipinti announced his entry to the 2013 Hoboken election for Mayor and (3) council at-large seats this coming November 5, 2013.

Now the field is complete. Also running against Zimmer’s ethically-corrupt team is Ruben Ramos, Jr. and his slate of three council candidates.

If you can’t vote in person, luckily we live in a democracy – and you can Vote By Mail (pdf).

Tim Occhipinti Enters Race For Hoboken Mayor!

“As many people may already know; I have recently entered the race for Mayor this coming November alongside an incredible team of people. We have already had an amazing couple of weeks since my ticket, “One Hoboken,” entered and we are going to keep our campaign positive and filled with productive plans that our residents care about. On Friday, we hosted a packed event at Hotel Victor to get voters registered this fall, and to raise money for the Seaside Boardwalk rebuilding efforts. It was a complete success!

“One Hoboken” looks to unify our city, as opposed to a binary election where people must choose “an old way” versus “a new way.” We all live here, regardless of how long, and we hope to unite the town and give everyone a voice. This is why my slate boasts both relatively new residents and native Hobokenites. From 62-year resident Frank Raia to lifetime resident Peter Biancamano to newer resident Britney Montgomery-Cook and myself; we have an amalgam of experience levels with the town that we love. At the end of the day, there is only one Hoboken, and it should be treated that way.

We will be updating the public in the coming weeks of our plans which include mitigating our city’s flooding issues first and foremost; as well as continuous waterfront plans, a St. Patrick’s Day Parade rebirth and a tactical approach to our ongoing street paving needs.

All you have to remember this November 5th:

  • Tim Occhipinti (1J) for Mayor
  • Frank Raia (5K), Peter Biancamano (6K) and Britney Montgomery-Cook (7K) for Council At-Large.

The 4th Ward is a big and powerful force in the voting world of this town. It would be just grand to see them kick ass in STAWN’S own ward.

Myself and everyone I know is voting for Tim. For once we have a candidate that seems to actually care about Hoboken. Ramos is invisible as far as I can tell, and Zimmer and her psychotic allies are contemptuous about this city at best. Plus Zimmer’s campaign promises from 2009 are a big fail or she takes credit for work of others. 4 and out for Stan puppet.

What will you be doing for an encore Tim? Will you be throwing yourself a birthday party every year in Sinatra Park?

I guess the right back room deals couldn’t be reached to satisfy all the usual morons. Obviously 4 more years of Zimmer is far more agreeable than feeling disrespected or left out of the process and letting Ramos have a solo run. GREAT JOB GUYS!
