Rosie wants to be a Fireman

The Dream Big Academy – Rosie Wants to be a Fireman {Hoboken}

Here’s some fun news! Hoboken mom Marissa Klein recently became self-published, with her new book for both kids & parents alike, entitled Rosie Wants to be a Fireman – which is part of The Dream Big Academy series. Future books are planned with new topics, but similar look and feel.

“When you dream you get to be whatever you want!”

The wonderfully illustrated book (drawn by Marissa’s friend and fashion sketcher Brooke Hagel) is meant to be read together with your kids.

It’s a cute, happy story about Rosie, an enthusiastic kid with big dreams. Filled with rhyming passages about Rosie, her doll Ellie and her dream about rescuing a cat and becoming a fireman one day. Besides being a fun adventure, it also helps explain to your kids what you as parents do for work, and why.

You can imagine that kids probably “dream” of being something different “when they grow up” almost every other week. This book will almost encourage your kids to follow their dreams, wherever they may lead them.
