In celebration of America’s birthday and Independence Day, we’re launching the nation’s Independence Day celebrations by raising – OK, we’re inflating — the largest free-flying American Flag ever produced! Please join us as we salute the flag in honoring our nation with this 5 story tall special shaped hot air balloon courtesy of the QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning in Association with PNC Bank. The American Flag balloon was conceived and built following the attacks of September 11 and is being inflated in preparation of its flight along with 100 other balloons at next month’s 31st annual QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning, the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festival in North America, to be held July 26-27-28, 2013 at Solberg Airport in Readington, NJ
Hope it doesn’t get rained out!
