Dualing NYC & NJ Skylines
HDR Photo Combo: NYC & Hoboken Skyline
Continuing the Hoboken HDR Photo of the Day entry is a great view of many locales in a single shot.
Left to right, we have the battery portion of the NYC skyline, the mighty Hudson River, then over to Hoboken to see Stevens Institute, the Union Dry Dock, Maxwell Place and finally the good ‘ole 1907 Yankee Ferry, which has since been relocated after Hurricane Sandy.

These photos are creatively adjusted using the High Dynamic Range photo technique. Our photos vary from extremely artistic and painting like, to lush vivid landscapes and eerie portrayals.
Conceived and launched in 2006, the original Hoboken Photo of the Day category contains thousands of pictures and includes many other subsections, including Drunk Bread Crumbs, Where is this?, Hoboken Digital Art, and more.
By photo-documenting the city of Hoboken season after season, “a picture is worth 1000 words,” and can tell a myriad of stories encompassing the good, bad and the ugly contained within the mile-square. Our constantly-evolving way of maintaining a historical archive of memories and sights.
