Suicide Jumper at Church Towers in Hoboken NJ

Shortly before noon today, area residents were shocked by a suicide jumper at 15 Church Towers.

A young man in his 20’s leapt from the 10th floor to his death. He was pronounced dead at 12:06pm.

Hoboken police quickly cordoned off the area, and the medical examiner, detective bureau and prosecutors office were called in. Additionally, crisis workers from Hoboken University Medical Center as well as a nearby church were asked to assist with grieving family members.

My deepest regrets to his friends and family .
Hopefully as a community and society we can come up with more ways to help people that are mentally distressed before they hurt themselves and others

So sad. I knew the kid too. Had his fair share of troubles. Too bad it turned out this way. Condolences to the family.

He is finally getting the peace in death he did not get in life. He is now reunited with his Mother. I will not say anything else because it makes me angry to think he never got a break while he was alive.
So sad. I knew the kid too. Had his fair share of troubles. The family saw signs and so did the whole building but you can’t watch a person 24/7 and no one is to blame!!
When will they release the persons name? Didnt family see the signs? More to this story. Lord have mercy.
Nick was always cool by me and I can truly relate to his troubles. he was often misunderstood by his peers and neighbors alike. It wasn’t easy being for him and my heart
Truly goes out to NICK Sr. The toughest pain on earth for a man is to lose his only son! 🙁
