Hoboken photo leftovers: Feb. 2nd

Hoboken photo remains of the week: February 2, 2013

Below more leftover photo updates from the past week:

In the photo gallery below:

  • Photos 1 & 2: Can you believe the Cablevision office is still closed more than three months since Hurricane Sandy?
  • Photo 3: One of the Logfret offices on the north side of First Street is “for rent.” A true “sign of the times” here in Hoboken.
  • Photo 4: Odd – the Hoboken on Rye deli downtown had a closed for “family emergency” sign on it. Wonder if everything is alright. But I also recall when similar signs went up on other businesses in the past, it can also be code word for them having trouble staying afloat. I hope that’s not the case here!

Reader Photo: Skies above Hoboken

As an added bonus – check out this cool view of the Hoboken Lackawanna terminal – with crazy cloud formations above!

(Thanks, JP for the submission!)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hoboken on Rye has reopened after being closed for three weeks – I stopped by today (Sunday 2/24). They were closed due to a family emergency – the father had a stroke so sending best wishes for a speedy recovery.
