Hoboken Happy Hours – Do they entice you to drink?
About the only place in recent memory that has ever enticed me to grab happy hour drinks in Hoboken was in the summer at City Bistro – their awesome early-bird rooftop specials (basically half-off everything). This way you’re not forced into a particular brand that you may not like. Plus, the views of all the construction action nearby is much better than looking at the same ‘ole NYC skyline. Ha!

I would suspect that anyone else that frequents bars based on their happy hour specials is either poor and living paycheck to paycheck, or the new breed of Groupon and Living Social consumers who expect everything to be on sale at all times.
Below the poll are some current specials – Grouped by downtown, midtown and uptown areas. Email Hoboken411 if you want yours included.

You can’t beat Tuesdays at Hotel Victor Bar & Grill; 50% off all food and drinks and they have a very friendly staff. I have not been there recently, but that was my go to spot during the summer and fall…. and it will be again once it gets warm out. Great place for people watching as it’s on the corner of Hudson St & Hudson Pl (across from the PATH station).
