Fresh U Grill & Juice Bar

Is Fresh U Grill okay in Hoboken?

A week or two we noticed that Fresh U Grill had closed. Along with a sign that said they were “renovating” and expecting to open on June 15th.

We gave them a call yesterday (no answer).

Wonder if they’re doomed – and why? And what would be the need to renovate a little over three years after opening?

Fresh-U Grill now open in Hoboken, NJ

1/8/2013 Update:

Fresh-U Grill quietly opened their doors yesterday at 70 Hudson Street! And they already have a nice steady stream of customers, based on what I saw this afternoon.

See menu and more after the break. You can contact them at (201)222-1414 – as they’re already delivering in town. And don’t forget to try the Stumptown Coffee – pretty good, indeed!

As we already told you, replacing Balbo’s Pizza at 70 Hudson Street will be a sandwich shop and juice bar called Fresh-U Grill.

Sort of like Energy Kitchen (which is currently under renovation) and Healthy For LifeFresh U Grill specializes in “healthy” wraps, salads, sandwiches and juices. They also will feature Stumptown Coffee – which is a popular west coast brew house (which also has two locations in New York).

Serving breakfast at 7am daily (good idea for commuters), they’ll be open until 10pm every day except Friday and Saturday nights (until 3am – another good business decision!)

Click here to see menu – and hope you all like ’em enough to prevent another empty storefront in Hoboken!

Something positive I read: Wrap-puke is better for the environment than pizza-puke and hotdog-puke.
