Nag’s Head restored!

Nag’s Head and their Hurricane Sandy quagmires

Found this interesting video interview of Barney Finnegan who owns Nag’s Head bar in Hoboken.

He sustained substantial damage after hurricane Sandy – but opened again and hopes to get biz back to normal. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop by for a pint or two!

Hoboken’s Nag’s Head not going anywhere after Hurricane Sandy

11/16/2012 Update:

Heard some crazy rumors this week that Barney Finnegan who owns Nag’s Head at 359 1st Street wasn’t going to reopen after flooding went halfway up the bar during Hurricane Sandy.

I stopped by a few days ago and spoke to construction workers on scene who were working furiously to restore the great downtown watering hole. They indicated that Nag’s will absolutely re-open, in as little as two weeks!

Glad he’s not closing! This was always one of my favorite bars in town!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have reopened!!! Take that Sandy!

It has been a very long month, but we’re back- better than ever! The only thing that has changed is our beer selection, we’ve added a few new drafts- which I don’t think anyone will be upset about 🙂 Thank you all for the support! Stop in and say hi!

I’m SO glad. This is easily the best little bar in the area, and I’m in love with the place. Good luck, Barney!!! We’ll see you soon!!!
