HPD Fall Motorcycle Run

I bet a lot of you were wondering what the dozens of motorcycles riding up Washington St. this morning were doing here.

Well, it was the 7th Annual Fall Motorcycle Run that the Hoboken Police Department members organized.

The rally typically raises money for a local community cause. Like last year, they raised funds for the family of the Waitress at Malibu Diner that was killed by an ambulance – and this year, it was to help the brother of a Hoboken Police Officer who was diagnosed with brain cancer.

“Our run leaves Hoboken and travels along the roads of North Western New Jersey, crossing the Historic Dingmans Bridge, which is the last privately owned bridge on the Delaware River into Pennsylvania. After crossing the Delaware, we will travel a short distance to the Mount Haven Resort & Restaurant in Milford, PA, to sit down to enjoy their famous Sunday Buffet Breakfast.”

Perfect fall weather indeed today for a good cause!

Can’t beat the camaraderie! Would love to take part in something like that one day. Have to learn how to ride a bike first.
