Zimmer to pay for “locals” overseas?

Ian Sacs moving – Zimmer to keep him on Hoboken, NJ payroll?

Employee movement is not much of a concern to Hoboken411 – however, people still talk about it.

Like one 411 commenter who mentioned that bike lane Czar Ian Sacs is getting far away from the FBI in Hoboken and jettisoning off to Europe. Apparently, Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer thinks this “genius” is the ONLY individual on planet Earth that knows anything about traffic cones and bike lanes…

That said, apparently, Ms. Zimmer is keeping this (hardly) “local” guy on the payroll remotely – according to this flyer that some douchebag put on my car. LEAVE MY CAR ALONE! I’d much rather you email me this junk rather than me have to scan it with my $20 scanner I bought at a garage sale in Hoboken.

Anyway – it seems as if maybe Mr. Sacs has some dirt on Dawn Zimmer. Who else would keep a transportation director on board if they cannot even tell whether it’s raining in Hoboken or not? Something VERY fishy here…

Dawn Zimmer keeps European resident Ian Sacs on payroll because he is the only one that understands bike lanes in Hoboken NJ

Paid Consultants are a different budget line from regular Payroll.

So the flyer should read “keep paying you” instead of “keep you on the payroll.”

Several of the articles that were on the Star Ledger site mentioned that he would be staying on as a paid consultant.

How can this be validated? I am sure it won’t be on Snopes.com…Is there a Public Information request that can be made?
