Tim Hortons Coffee & Bake Shop

Tim Hortons coming to Lackawanna Terminal in Hoboken

Along with Sbarro Pizza – we have more new food options coming to the Lackawanna Plaza Train Terminal in downtown Hoboken later this year.

Tim Hortons Coffee & Bake Shop will also call the Mile Square home soon.

Started in 1964 up in Canada, the Tim Horton’s franchise was once part of the Wendy’s International, but was spun off as an independent publicly-traded company in early 2006. They currently have over 3,000 locations in Canada, and over 600 in the USA, and are expanding rapidly.

I’ve never personally tried their coffee, but they seem to be a knock-off of Dunkin’ Donuts – which doesn’t fly on the radar of those who choose to abide by the low-carb principles. But I’m sure many of you will find their stuff tasty.

I dunno… Hay no offense to our friends from the great white north but I w 😆 as at a Tim Hortons Windsor Canada. Kind of greesy the donuts and the coffee not drinkable. Just like Labatts Blue & Molson.

Canada’s three best exports, ice hockey, beer and Tim Horton’s, my prayers have been answered!!! The coffee is not as good as Dunk Do but the donuts are better. Try the walnut crunch, sour cream glaze or the maple dip. Now all we need in town is a Krispy Kreme to complete the trifecta!

My Canadian friends all swear by “Timmy Ho’s”, but the coffee’s sub-par compared to Dunkin Donuts, let alone a good local place.
