Liston bails on Hoboken

Arch Liston quits as Hoboken Biz Administrator

As of last night’s Hoboken City Council Meeting – Business Administrator Arch Liston submitted his resignation. While the press release from the city below indicates an amicable justification, Hoboken411 is hearing otherwise.
Arch Liston quits Hoboken NJ Business Administrator
Sources say that Liston was telling people that Dawn Zimmer’s shadow Mayor & husband Stan Grossbard, as well as Parking Director Ian Sacs “are out of control,” and that they’re essentially dooming the current administration.

Additionally, Zimmer is in hot water with the testimony she’s fumbling on regarding improper staff layoffs.

Liston is still set to testify in February – current city employee or not.

Perhaps it was a smart move to bail? Get out before it gets too hot?

Also – you might want to be on the lookout for “ring-leader” Michael Lenz possibly getting back on the radar here in the Mile Square…

Mayor Zimmer announces search for new Business Administrator

(City press release)

“Mayor Dawn Zimmer announced that Business Administrator Arch Liston will be relocating back to South Jersey for family reasons. He advised Mayor Zimmer of his decision yesterday, and the City is initiating a search for a replacement. Director Liston has agreed to stay on for the next few months during the search and transition period.

“Director Liston has played an enormous role in reforming Hoboken government and improving the lives of our community,” said Mayor Zimmer. “He guided us through major contract negotiations, helped root out corruption, streamlined City government, and has been key to reducing taxes for two years in a row. I am so thankful for his service to Hoboken.”

Happy New Year All! Haven’t been on this site for a while, it appears a lot has been going on in our fair City during the holiday season. Could it be that Ms. Zimmer’s decisions are coming back to haunt her? Next stop: The truth about the HUMC debacle. I’m sitting back and waiting for more news. Well she is into her 3rd year in office and now comes the time that her supporters jump ship and all the lack of transparency is reveale. I almost feel sorry for her. What a debacle! 🙁

whine n dine…Keep in mind Al is as dumb a a fox lurking behind the hen house. A mayor dosen’t cave in just like that. Notice all the queens drones are imports and then exported soon enough. Next should be Little Lord Faunteroy aka pkg tzar…The confidential aids ,over load of attorneys, as well as hatband calling the plays.Notice the reformer is dorment and making money in real estate.A full tummy and it is full /never barks. If the new breed is partial to their leader and anti bnr,the way it’s going is all will be led down the path of destruction in every way shape or form.. Taxpayers are not complaining anymore. Is this arch way /aka liston doing the taxpayers a favor by staying on untill spring? Part 2 of the soap Days of Our Lives in the Puzzle palace on hoboken 411.. 😈

Scott Segal is next in line for the Business Administration spot. He knows everything about Hoboken and already attends all council meetings. Plus his motto is “Often heard seldom right”

A lot of Zimmer puppets in town, but Siegel probably takes the blue ribbon prize for his lack of a real meaningful life and personality. Never witnessed a more politically indoctrinated soul ever. Feel a bit bad for the guy actually. He can still escape, but probably needs a style makeover and some visits to the gym.
