Adopt Mia the Dog!
Mia is the perfect dog for Hoboken!
Mia is a fun, loving little pup. She is estimated to be at about 8-10 months of age and is about 30 pounds (perfect for a Hoboken apartment!)
“We are unsure of her breed, but she appears to be a mix of Australian Shepherd, Coonhound and maybe Carolina dog or pit. Mia loves people and is ready to greet anyone and everyone she sees on the street. She loves to give kisses and snuggle. She gets along great with other dogs as well. Mia is crate trained and is working on her house training. She is learning basic commands and is extremely food motivated so is ready to do anything for a treat! She sleeps at night in her crate and is happy to go in there and lay down when I leave for work. She is a playful pup who loves toys and just wants to be near her people.
Mia and her sister Mya didn’t always have the best life. They were rescued from a neglect case down south. Their previous owners had tied a rope around their neck, which soon became embedded as they grew. They were rescued and have been treated. There is only a faint scar, which may completely disappear in time. Mia and Mya seem to have no emotional scars and are social and loving, just ready to find their forever homes for the holidays!”
