Pizza Parlor Burglary – on Washington St.

Welcome to Hoboken, La Bella Vista!

Yesterday at about 3am – witnesses saw an unknown person leaving new pizza restaurant La Bella Vista (916 Washington St.) When the owners arrived to open the store at 10am, they discovered that they had been burglarized.

The contents of the cash register (around $500) and even the tip jar were stolen. They filed a report with Hoboken Police, and said they were amazed that it happened right on Washington Street.

Owner Arun didn’t let it bring him down though, and just continued work as usual. “God will take care of everything,” he said. That’s a pretty positive attitude!

However, I think the burglars also stole the roast beef as well, because I wanted to try a panini sandwich last night, and they didn’t have any. Bummer!
