Hudson River Waterfront Sign – matches waterfront

I like finding connections around town – and this photograph of a sign along Sinatra Drive fits the bill today.

It’s supposed to say “Hudson River Waterfront,” which I suppose was part of some past marketing program to promote the fabulous river walkways and scenery.

However, like the crumbling and dilapidated Hoboken waterfront – the sign pretty much represents the current state of affairs fairly accurately.

I wish someone would either remove the sign, or figure out a way to bring it back to life (at no cost to property tax-payers, of course!)

I totally agree – this sign is a disgrace, ironically enough. Obviously the city could give a crap… Isn’t there some govt drone over at City Hall who’s job is to keep the signage of the city in order?
