Cut Flowers in the Rain

Yellow Roses in a Hoboken Rainfall
If you are in the mood to enjoy a downpour in Hoboken, NJ – one thing you will soon notice is that store owners/workers at establishments with outdoor flowers begin to rush the delicate bouquets inside when the rain starts coming down.
These roses were hurried inside a few seconds after I took this picture, as were the flowers in the second photo. I don’t know what the latter flowers they are called, though – does anyone know?
Stay dry this week!
