Adopt Henry the Black Lab!

Rescue from Georgia wants Hoboken home!

Had a chance to meet Henry, the black lab who popular dog walker Helen is fostering until he finds a home. Apparently, he was neglected down south (i.e., left chained in a yard with little attention or food). He’s about one year old.

Helen, who fosters and finds good homes for many dogs is looking for a new home for Henry. He’s loyal, friendly, and gentle. She said that he got his health checkup, all his shots and is “chipped,” so he’s good for an entire year. Additionally – she said that she’d offer a free month of dog-walking or dog-sitting if anyone in Hoboken chooses to bring Henry into their family. We had a chance to hang out with him yesterday, and he’s such a sweet dog – and would make a great companion for those looking for a new canine!

If you’re interested in adopting (or meeting) Henry – give Helen a shout at (201)936-9901.

My dog (who looks like Henry) is named Hudson…so the pair would have been Henry Hudson 😉

Aw, great ending! Wishing Henry and his new owner(s) all the best.

Hope that kitten gets adopted, too.

Henry is very sweet, calm, and kind and patient around other dogs. He’s a good size, too– not too big, not small.

I think he’d make a wonderful member of any family. Good luck, Henry!

This dog has an incredibly sweet disposition, you can see it in his eyes. After a rough beginning he’s still smiling and does not seem to have a chip on his shoulder.

Also, though unrelated – someone appears to be levitating in the right-most photo…
