I get my hair cut here and it’s great for informational discourse 😛

My husband still gets his hair cut there and my son’s got one of his first haircuts there as a baby. Great old-time Hoboken family!

I agree. They also open their doors early Saturday mornings (7:30) for customers. Wishing continued success for Louie, Nicky and Tony.
My husband still gets his hair cut there and my son’s got one of his first haircuts there as a baby. Great old-time Hoboken family!
I got my first hair from Louie in the early 1970’s when the ex police chief Carmen LaBruno, then a patrolmen like myself (at the time), and who I had worked with that day, took me to his small shop when it was on Willow Ave; to get me in style from the old wet look that I had been sporting all my life, and I continued being a customer at the 600 Park Ave; location up until 2000 when I retired from from the security department at St. Mary Hospital.

As time passed Louie’s nephew Nicky, (now an owner) joined him at Mr. L’s, as did Nicky’s father part-time to keep up with the demand.

I just watched a Cake Boss episode that had Buddy do a 45th anniversary cake for the barber shop and it was awsome to see what he came up with.

They had some turn out of family and friends at the celebration and it looked like a good time was going to be had by all.

I’m 72 now and Louie and Nicky have changed in appearance since I last saw them, but they still look good and that brought back some pleasent feelings of the old days to me.

Oh yea, I always got my hair by Louie because I knew that he would always cut it the same way.

are you kidding me? they are the worst barber shop in town. do not have your hair cut by the owner (all the way to the left)…he is horrible and you will be there for an hour b/c he bs’s on the phone the whole time he cuts your hair. 👿
