The Hoboken Elk

[Continuing the original Hoboken411 photo series: Hoboken Digital Art…]

The Elk in Hoboken is famous

A nice artistic rendering outside of the Hoboken Elks Lodge on Washington Street between 10th and 11th. One of the few noteworthy and recognizable landmarks in the Mile Square.

Looks like an old western town (but for the cars). One other similarity I see between Hoboken and the Wild West? We like to keep our grudges… If folks still carried around their pistols in holsters to the local saloons with a horse conveniently parked outside, ain’t no tellin’ how interesting that Police Blotter might get.
