Council President DelBoccio Retiring

Sent by the Michael Russo Civic Association:

Dear Friend:

delboccio - Council President DelBoccio RetiringRichard DelBoccio is retiring from many years of dedicated service to the City of Hoboken.

To say Richie has devoted his life to improving Hoboken is an understatement. He has set an example for all of us to follow from his career as a teacher, Principal, Acting Superintendent of the Hoboken Board of Education, City Councilman as well as City Council President. In addition to all the hats that he has worn throughout his life he is also a devoted husband to Victoria, father to Ann Margaret, Joseph & Karen, grandfather to Nicholas and of course a cherished friend to us all.

Richie has been and will continue to be an inspiration and a mentor to us all. He is always ready to listen and give advice when asked. He has earned the respect and admiration of many in our beautiful city.

For those reasons and too many others to mention, we at the Russo Civic Association would like to take this opportunity to honor Richie for his public service. The Russo Association will be hosting an event on March 13, 2007 at Lounge 11 on 5th and Madison Street, Hoboken, NJ from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Tickets to the event, are $50.00 each, contact Michele –201-988-3478. We hope you can make it to pay tribute to Richie. Please mail checks payable to the Russo Association. PO Box 1515, Hoboken, NJ 07030.

actually – I went to Lounge 11 last week after I read the review in the Jersey Journal.
The food was fabulous.

Lounge 11??? I hope he enjoys his “I dedicated my live to Hoboken and all I got was this crappy dinner at Lounge 11” t-shirt.

And why should I be making out a $50 check to the Russo Civic Association? Give me a break.
