We’ve had a ridiculous amount of wind lately. Glad to hear this guy’s OK.
True story: Many moons ago, when I worked in the city, a black steel pole fell and landed a few feet to my left while I waited for the bus one evening. People around me were more shocked than I was! I was just glad not to have been killed by that thing. Happened on a day after a big thunderstorm.
Was he hurt?
No – just “shook up,” according to first responders.[quote comment=”204088″]Was he hurt?

I just happened to walk by when EMS and police arrived. The group seemed to be ok just in shock that it happened. It was the plastic part that covers the bulb (at least appeared to be) a guy was holding it. [quote comment=”204089″]No – just “shook up,” according to first responders.
