Congrats to local Hoboken artist Jason Gluskin!
Crossroads: Art, Music and Fashion Show
Featuring Hobokenite Jason Gluskin!
Hoboken painter & fine artist kicks 2011 off with a bang by contributing his work to Crossroads on January 22nd, 7 pm – midnight (Bowlmor Lanes – map). This exciting Art, Music & Fashion party is hosted at the Tribeca Room located in the heart of Times Square, and is presented by The Art of Fashion. The opening reception will feature a cocktail party, a collection works from emerging and established fine artists, live music, a live fashion and burlesque show (open to the public with RSVP: firstname.lastname@example.org).
This show will feature Gluskin’s NYC themed paintings as well as music-inspired works, including the 4’ x 4’ piece of Times Square, City of Lights. Gluskin has been hard at work creating new art, just coming off his first NYC solo show at Midoma Gallery, also in midtown Manhattan, last month.

About Jason Gluskin
Jason Gluskin’s work has been classified as energetic, whimsical, colorful and musical. These traits are a strong reflection of his personality. His vibrant compositions, most produced directly on canvas, are drawn from his urban surroundings, a plethora of music and art as well personal experiences.
In 2007, Jason started to experiment with large paintings for the first time and unveiled his work in May 2009 with much success. He quickly secured a gallery show, broke into New York City and has generated significant press with his bold, colorful, musical style. Jason and his art have been featured on television and he has been profile in a short film. He has sold many originals paintings and prints to collectors and has a global following.
Gluskin is currently inspired by European Expressionism, Cubism and the masters including Picasso, Barque, Van Gogh, Max Beckmann, Paul Klee and Matisse as well as contemporary artists.
