10/22/2010:

A couple tidbits from various lawmakers in New Jersey that have some effect (one way or another) in Hoboken, NJ.

Ramos seeks commuter credits

While it may not be much – Assemblyman (and former Hoboken Councilman) Ruben Ramos introduced a measure to bring some relief to commuters in New Jersey – a gross income tax credit of up to $100 per year for those who qualify.

Stack mills around in Hoboken

State Senator Brian Stack made a visit to the Hoboken Housing Authority last week – and brought his “Mobile Office” to listen to complaints and concerns of residents. 50 Hobokenites attended. Stack made weekly visits to talk with constituents in Union City this past summer.
