Windshield Tweet: Delivery Amnesty
[Continuing the ORIGINAL Hoboken411 “Windshield Twittering” series…]
I am feeding people and will be right back!
How do you feel about this type of Hoboken Windshield Tweet?
It’s obvious there are countless food establishments that deliver in Hoboken (like Mr. Wraps pictured below). But how can they run their business if they don’t park illegally (either double parking or intersection parking) much of the time?
- One logical response might be: “Ride a bike” or something along those lines.
- But for busy establishments, would a bike always be prudent? (I know Sri Thai, H&S Giovanni, and many other places that do fine with just bicycles).
- What about businesses that also deliver to surrounding cities?
- Should temporary “delivery zones” be establish on each and every street in Hoboken to allow for short-term parking?
