Windy October Nor`easter expected

Nor’easter coming to Hoboken, more wet & windy weather

Hoboken Noreaster October 14 2010 rain flooding

Weather forecasters are predicting a classic Nor’easter to barrel up the coast this week, and hit our area with rain and gusty winds Thursday into Friday.

As of today, they don’t expect a deluge of rain (only between an inch or two), but that can change depending on the track and intensity. But the wind may be the big story here, so watch out for branches & power lines and secure any items on your balconies. Stay tuned for further updates.

Hopefully the flooding in Hoboken doesn’t get too bad – or else the Legal Beans owners may have another disaster like they did during a storm a few weeks ago. That storm caused them to shut down for several weeks while they repaired flood damage.

Now I see why you didn’t cover this storm the way you usually do. There’s no flooding anywhere downtown other than a few puddles.
