New exhibit opens this Thursday at BAMA Galleries at 946 Bloomfield Street.

Robert Policastro is a native New Jerseyan, who lives and works in the Hoboken area. Awarded a Life Membership to the Arts Students League of New York, Mr. Policastro has demonstrated an expanding expertise in life drawing and oil figure painting in the last two decades. He has also participated in approximately a dozen exhibitions throughout New Jersey, including showings at Kearny Museum, Essex Fine Art Gallery, the Lemmerman Gallery and the Madarts Figure Drawing Show. More recently, Mr. Policastro has focused his vision on tigers, producing an exhilarating collection of expressionistic works that are represented in his current exhibition: Ides of the Tiger. The opening of this lasted exhibit coincides with the start of the Chinese New Year, appropriately entitled The Year of the Tiger.

  • Exhibit Hours: March 12th 6-10pm, March 13th 12-5pm, March 14th 1-3pm
