I’ve heard mixed reviews about Coldstone. Some people say it’s too sweet and trendy with ice cream that melts too quickly and others are in love with it. Personally I can’t get enough of Coldstone. Every time I go, there is always a huge line so that speaks for itself. Yes it’s a bit pricey and the treats are ridiculously fattening but you only live once, right?

Picture it – Hoboken, NJ – July 31, 2008 (4:30ish). I’m at work with my co-workers who are also craving top shelf ice cream. Remembering that Cold Stone Creamery delivers, I call the Hoboken location where Steven, the manager, answers. He tells me that they are not doing deliveries any longer and crushed, I say thanks anyway while my dreams of creamy goodness fly out the window. Hearing the disappointment in my voice, Steven says: “Wait, I’m not that busy here, I can bring it to you.” With my faith in divine guidance restored, I place my order and await ice cream splendor. Next thing I know, Steven has entered the building with a cheerful smile and more importantly my Coffee Oreo Milk Shake. Steven is a God among men and I would just like to say “Thanks for the GREAT service!” I must go now and wipe my mouth as there is cream dripping down my face – I am a happy man! 8)

Skip Coldstone and get some of that cocolate peanut butter swirl that Turkey Hill makes. That stuff is sinfully bad.

Maybe I am not much of an ice cream parlor person unless I am at the beach…….

Maybe it had a line 50 deep because all the other icecream places in Hoboken went out of business.
