Even boat captains can’t park!

Boat parking FAIL

We all know that parking is a total pain in the neck in Hoboken.

But who woulda thunk that you could mess up parking (docking) a boat when you even have your own dedicated “parking” dock?

Hoboken411 reader Nikki as well as an anonymous cell phone user sent these photos of the Cornucopia Majesty in!

“Precarious situation for the Cornucopia….. someone is losing their job for not tying it up properly!”

Happy to see it didn’t hit the Yankee! It’s a shame it didn’t break away completely and head into the Atlantic never to be seen again, or better yet, sank. It’s an eyesore.

Was this ship set adrift today from the “gusts” (I’d say near hurricane gusts — felt like level 1 hurricane with 50 mph). i.e., did the ship pull the bollard off of the pier b/c the wind was blowing it hard? OR did the bollard/cleats just crap out b/c they are old?

a bollard as RTD pointed out, is basically a big ass cleat that looks like a tree stump. There’s a few of them left around hoboken for aesthetic purposes, not like the yuppies would care anyway.
