Fire Call: 114 Jefferson St.

Whew – comfortable seating preserved

Reported moments ago on the Hoboken411 Live Police and Fire Action Channel – was “sofa on fire at 114 Jefferson Street.” However, upon arrival Hoboken FD determined it was just a stove fire and was contained. They’re shutting off the gas for Apt. #5 just in case.

In other words, more like careless cooking! Thank god!

But good job HFD once again for the lightning quick response!
