How is this place still in business? Oh, because dummies like me go there for lunch.

Slow service with an attitude + the wrong sandwich = half a bottle of pepto bismol.

Today I really learned my lesson, stay away!

Okay…The coffee at this place is good, but I DO NOT recommend the breakfast! I ordered a breakfast burrito and it took 25 minutes to get! I don’t see how/why it took this long considering I saw them MICROWAVE the egg. Not to mention the fact that it was $10 for a coffe and the WORST breakfast I’ve ever had! Do not get their breakfast! Total waste of $$$….I couldn’t even enjoy this crap drunk!!! 👿

I was telling a friend about that coffee the other day! I don’t get up that way often in the mornings anymore, but that is one hell of a cup of coffee! Also, Tony’s on 2nd between grand and adams has probably the best tasting coffee I have ever tasted if you’re down that way!

The Willow Ave Grocery aka bodega on ninth has my favorite cup of coffee in town, save Anthony Davids on 10th and Bloomfield.

Back to original thread on Josh & Ives. The new owners have made one solid change to the spot, they have a wider variety of coffee choices.

I understand that they are trying to control their costs in a low margin business, beside how often do you end up throwing away the napkins you took anyway? The bagels are decent, but by no means among the very best. In fact I have yet to find a killer bagel in the Hobo.
