Poll: Playoff hopes dim for NY teams…

While the Jets are on a nifty three-game winning streak, and are in reach of a wildcard playoff berth – two of their next three games are against undefeated Indianapolis and 9-4 Cincinnati. Gang Green will be lucky to finish the season at 8-8.

I gave up on Big Blue weeks ago, and last night’s loss against Philly probably was the last nail in their coffin. However, with Dallas’ tough remaining schedule, they might have a sliver of a chance.

Dream big, hope for luck!

Those who don’t follow the (nearly impossible to win) NJ State Lottery games, might be interested that tomorrow’s Mega Millions Jackpot is now $118 million (no winner in over a month), and tonight’s Pick-6 Jackpot is now $10.7 million (no winner since September).

What’s better? $208 bucks a year for a chance at retirement? Or investing the money?

8th Street blocked this week

No, that’s not a new trade they’re teaching at the Hoboken High School, but in case 8th Street (west of Clinton) is one of your routinely traveled routes, be advised that they’re working on the road this week, and expect to be shut down until this weekend.

Look, the Jets have a rookie QB, but there is not excuse for the poor leadership of the defense coordinator (Sheridan) of the Giants. He should be removed to shake them all to action….the defense is confused…confused…which takes coordination. Just MHO.

THe playoffs would be more exciting if at least one NY team made it

Once the Jets and Giants are eliminated its on to: “When do pitchers and catchers report to training camp for the Yankees?”
