Hoboken Breakfast Nuggets – 10/23/2009

A basic spread of Hoboken updates is what we have to nosh on this morning!

Theater Celebration moved to Sunday

The fun day of activities for the whole family which was scheduled for Saturday at Clearview Cinemas has been bumped to Sunday.

Yep. We get paving money from NJ every year.

Just like most municipalities, Hoboken once again received a grant to re-surface some of the roads in town. As part of the “FY 2010 Municipal Aid Program,” the city is set to receive about $460,000 from the NJ DOT, up from $410,000 this year. Maybe if they bid out the projects more sensibly, more than just a handful of roads can get paved. It’s never enough, as potholes always out-pace the re-surfacing.

Rain, Rain Go Away!

As you read previously, there’s a fairly good chance that Hoboken will get drenched tomorrow. Hopefully, that doesn’t lead to flooding, but if it does – feel free to send your aquatic mile square shots to Hoboken411@gmail.com
