Boca’s Play-n-Stay dog center

Not Hoboken, but close enough.

One of our readers indicated so much praise for Boca's that she provided a mini-review: "They are FANTASTIC. Its a daycare with outside dog run. They pickup and drop off your pet.. Reliability has never ever been a problem.. Always on time and my dog runs to the van, even when he isn’t going that day.."

Check it out as an alternative to Hoboken Pet services.

Dogs love dirty doggie smells.. I at first was very turned off by the scents, but remembered that I am sending my dog, not ME!! I walk him outside and all he does is yank me to the pee spots other dogs have left behind. I know its gross, but to him its marking territory..

I’ve explored several boarding facility’s in the past week and Boca is a nice place. The place could be cleaner it smells when you walk into the play area but the owner and staff seem nice and look like they have fun with the dogs.

Honestly I thought Boca’s was better than Graceland but not great, the facility seemed dirty and to small. Then I found Hounds on the Hudson in Guttenberg! They offer dog daycare and boarding. I had such a good experience, I decided to share. When I had to go away on an unexpected trip I was nervous about leaving my 6 year old German Sheppard mix. I had left him at Graceland once before and it turned out to be a very bad experience, at the time I did not no Graceland had such a bad reputation. After visiting several boarding facilities, I found Hounds on The Hudson. I was comfortable as soon as I walked in, the staff is so knowledgeable and well trained. The facility is impeccably clean (unlike most other facilities I’ve seen), they have spacious play runs, big kennel rooms, fenced-in outdoor run (which is wonderful I don’t have to worry about having my dog walked on the street). My baby had a great time and to top it all off he was groomed by their groomer the day I picked him up. They also have pickup and delivery (pet taxi) to Hoboken which is great. Now he gets pickedup once a week for daycare. I can’t say enough good things about them!
