You like the Fox Business Channel?

9/29/2009:

In yet another one of several Reader Mail segments today on Hoboken411, reader Ken hopes other Cablevision customers feel the same way he does…

john stossel leaving abc for fox business channel cablevision hoboken nj - You like the Fox Business Channel?

Urge Cablevision to carry Fox Business

“I’d like to make an appeal to Hoboken area residents who are Cablevision cable TV customers to call Cablevision at (201) 798-6060 and request that they carry the Fox Business channel.

John Stossel has left ABC’s 20/20 for Fox Business where he will be hosting his own weekly show but none of us will be able to see it because Cablevision does not offer the Fox Business channel. I called Cablevision to inquire about receiving the channel and the employee was very nice but told me that if they will only add Fox Business to their lineup if a lot of other people request it.

I don’t know what their definition of “a lot” is, but I am confident that Hoboken411 readers can make all the difference.”

Maybe we should realize NO news outlet is unbiased and respect both the left and right areas of the political spectrum.

Maybe in 2002 the NYT was merely parroting the UN, the Economist, Bill Clinton, EVERY major intelligence organization, their very own Thomas Friedman, and many other credible sources.

Maybe it’s the “exception that proves the rule.”

Maybe I should claim that December is generally warm and pleasant in the NE when we had one Christmas day in 1982 when the outside temps reached into the 70s.

Yup that makes a lot of sense.

I would hope that the irony of “HansBrix” above statement isn’t lost on anyone.

Now even THIS turns into a political issue? Folks, this is Fox BUSINESS channel not Fox news. Even I, as a moderate conservative, can respect sections from the New York Times (Business, Sport for example) so try to think outside of the box and judge Fox Business Channel on its content and not on the ‘Fox’ name.

Dav74id –

Are you wary of the NY Times’s agenda mascarading as news? Or does your warning only apply to outlets that dare to present viewpoints other than yours?

Especially when they were promoting going to war with Iraq in late 2002.

Goes for all unobjective “journalism.”

Since I do not have veiwpoints that fall along one idealogical script, some of the information on Fox Business present veiwpoints that are, in fact, mine.

They did what all Democrats do and double counted his vote and then told him to talk to Acorn to register under fake names to vote some more.
