Augustinos Italian Restaurant still the best in Hoboken

Augustino Menu Hoboken NJIt had been at least a year since I had last eaten at Augustino’s restaurant (1104 Washington) – and damn, I forgot how great the food was there! Being busy with all the new places in town, I let a old favorite fall off the radar a bit.

When we ate there last year, I remember having the pork-chop special (which is available about twice a week) – that was out outrageously delicious (and massive), that I told the owner Buddy for several weeks afterward how thrilled I was. But that was then, and this is now.

Ordered some takeout last week – a couple chicken dishes and a Caesar salad. Everything about the food at Augustino’s is top notch. The flavor, preparation, and portion sizes – all perfect.

Didn’t have the camera equipment on my person – so you’ll have to imagine how mouth-watering it really was.

But the purpose of this update wasn’t really a review per se, but wanted to add the menu to the Augustino’s listing – which was previously absent. Yes, it’s one of the higher-priced Italian places in town, but like they say “you get what you pay for.”

You can view the simple one-page menu for Augustino’s here.

After not having dinner here for a while just got back from an unbelivable meal! YUM. (and leftovers for tomorrow, more YUM). We had no reservation, just walked in and ate at the bar. Food was out of this world! The staff was welcoming and sassy as always. I Heart this place!
