By far the worst Thai food I have ever had – my wife and I heard good things about this place – so we gave it a try and ordered take out – the food showed up quickly; however, it was all on the cold side when we opened it up – we both ordered the Pad Thai with chicken which I am not kidding when I say it was down right disgusting – really bad flavor with barely any chicken – even worse, I swear it had been prepared two days ago – it was cold and all congealed together. I called about this – according to them it was not pre-prepared – I find that hard to believe – no offer for a new order or money back – man, what a waste of $40 – I can say this will be my one and only experience with Casual Thai – look elsewhere – this place puts Thai cuisine to shame!

I agree. Yummy food, bad music.

Ate here about 2 weeks ago. Had the chilian sea bass special. I picked the Ginger sauce. It was delish! While the portion of fish was on the smallish side (the price was right) the dish came with tons of veggies and fresh rice. My gf had the green curry and she loved it. I dont think you can get green curry in many places in Hoboken. I will def. come back to this place. It’s a nice place to try when you become sick of all of your “usual” dining places.

The one con was the music. It was loud an depressing. I think it was the Titanic soundtrack — ugh

I rather enjoy their green curry. I love the amount and verity of the vegetables they put in the dish. The meat is always melt in your mouth tender. Another plus is that they offer a lunch special 7 days a week.
Bankok City has my vote as best Thai food in town Try the chicken gai-gra tiem with the panut sauce and white rice. Fantastic!
I felt like I was eating in my grandparent’s attic ath Bangkok City.
