What does Sirius Satellite Radio, a new Off-Broadway show called “Crazy Sexy Disco” and the Hudson Tavern have in common?

Can’t guess? Well, the answer is Hudson County’s born and raised Jim Rotolo!

This busy and innovative guy is a producer at Sirius, works at the Tavern as a waiter/bartender and stars in a new Off-broadway show as yes, you guessed it, a bartender! Art imitates life. If you would like to see this Hudson County renaissance man in action – this Friday is your chance! Crazy Sexy Disco will be performing at the D-Lounge of the Daryl Roth Theater in Union Square on Friday April 3rd at 10:30pm (101 E. 15th St. at Union Square) Advance tickets can be purchased for $20.

About Crazy Sexy Disco

“Crazy Sexy Disco” is a new type of interactive dance show that emerges at a time where we can fall back in love with sequins, afros and dancing the night away! The show is an hour and fifteen minute trip into the disco nightlife including interactive stories of love triangles, 70’s trivia and fond memories of “the good life.” (Elizabeth Barry, EB Associates and Gendance) Nine dancers, one vocalist and Jim (Bartender/Jimbo Smiley) entertain audiences with an unforgettable night. (Did we mention there are roller-skates and a disco fairy?)

The show appeals to the generations that lived through the disco era and warmly welcomes new audiences to this full-scale production.

Charging up the East Coast, Crazy Sexy Disco was booked for New Year’s Eve 2009 at Boogie Nights, one of Atlantic City’s hottest nightclubs. The show is produced, directed and choreographed by leading artists Jen James, Liz Piccoli and Svea Schneider. For more information, to book the show or buy tickets, please visit or contact Liz Piccoli at 201.245.2015 or Crazy Sexy Disco is also available for private and corporate bookings.
