4-day work week for Hoboken too?

2/12/2009:

NYC is considering a four-day work week for “non-essential” city employees. Would Hoboken see any benefit from that as well?

“Switching 40,000 non-essential employees to a four-day, 36-hour work-week would allow the city to cut 1,100 jobs and save $32.6 million next year and $61.3 million in 2011.”

See full story in the NY Post.

We have to rightly adjust to these uncharted waters or we will sink.

Forgot to mention why this idea is great: Happier people.

Happier people means more to me than anything else in the world considering the idiots most of us have to deal with on a routine basis.

I am all for happier people.
4 day work week for everyone!!! It’s not like we dont know how much time we waste each week. I think we would all be healthier, happier and better off.
Yeah. Never gonna happen for me. BUT I LOVE the idea! Enjoy everyone!
