Readerpix: Pier A Gingko Trees

Today’s Hoboken411 reader photo entry comes from a guest who was visiting from the UK!

He sent a few in (some of the NYC Skyline, and also the WWII Memorial – but I liked the Pier A Park one the best!)

Hoboken411 reader photo of the day – 1/14/2009

“We were fortunate enough to spend New Year in Hoboken with our relatives, David and Amanda of Adams Street, and took some photos I hope you will consider for inclusion in your ‘picture of the day’ section.

You are all very lucky to live in such a great city, I hope you appreciate it as much as we do whenever we get chance to visit.

Yours faithfully
Neil Rose”

Thanks very much Neil! Glad you enjoyed your visit!

[Stay tuned for tomorrow’s Readerpix entry! – Note: one reader’s photo(s) will be featured each day at approximately 11am. Unless your photo is time-sensitive – it will be published in the order it was received! Additional note: Your pictures will have a better chance of being published if they’re in “landscape” mode, as opposed to the taller “portrait” modes… ]

And this Neil Rose guy is a sweetheart! So true what he says– and, unfortunately, too many of us don’t appreciate the town we live in.

Each tree represents a Hoboken resident lost on 9/11… plus I think 2 or 3 extras in case any of the trees died.
