The Hoboken SQUAT Bus!

No, it’s not “Terry LaBruno Week” on Hoboken411 – but here’s the second lunch video in a row featuring the infamous at-large Hoboken Councilwoman this week!

Never sit – always SQUAT!

After watching a recent Hoboken City Council meeting, one Hoboken411 reader said: “I was going to recommend that we take Hoboken’s old SWAT bus and turn it into a large Port-o-John facility, but it looks Terry LaBruno beat me to it. I think it’d be an excellent idea to take the retired SWAT bus, and park it downtown by the “bar-mall” for the weekend revelers as an alternative to urinating on someone’s front door!”

Terry LaBruno has a great idea for the old SWAT bus! from Hoboken411 on Vimeo.

She is a loyal supporter of the Mayor and has voted for all of his poor decisions. This administration has caused the current budget deficit, the state supervision and has had three business administrators, 3 corporate counsels, and four chief financial officers in 7 years, during the Mayor’s term.
Turnovers in football lead to defeat. Unfortunately, the taxpayers in Hoboken are the losers ❗

Huh…what’s that about? 20 years service in JC. Is there another Theresa Labruno that was teaching in JC, or perhaps this was for coaching? Dunno..anyone?
Terry teaches algebra and geometry at St Mary’s High School in JC. She also coaches girls’ basketball, which explains the slight hoarseness in her voice.

She graduated from St. Peter’s College with a degree in psychology and taught math at the Academy of Sacred Heart in Hoboken from 1979 to 1990.
If you look at NJ By The Numbers ( you will see that she is also retired from the Jersey City Public Schools.
She retired on 7/1/2000 after 250 months of service.
Monthly pension: $846
Final avg salary: $26,795

For the benefit of those who missed it on the first go-round, here’s an oldie-but-goodie:

Oops, should have been
I don’t know what is more sad. The fact that she is a school teacher OR she is on this cities council (at large no less). BUT squat about somes it up…..
