Oh, Deer – another Hoboken Covid byproduct!

We’ve seen deer in the streets of Hoboken before – so it’s not unheard of.

But comedian Pat Lamb spotted these deer running up the streets in Hoboken yesterday.

It’s funny that most people in Hoboken are astonished when they see wild animals like this. It’s what happens when you live in a concrete jungle for too long. However, White-tailed deer are prevalent in the eastern half of America. In fact, most people outside liberal urban centers see them almost daily, like squirrels.

“White-tailed deer occur in most of southern Canada and all of the United States mainland except for a couple of western states. Their range covers entire Mexico and Central America reaching to South America as far south as Peru and Bolivia. They live in a range of habitats, from big woods in northern Maine to Florida’s hammock swamps and deep saw grass. They also occupy farmland, brushy areas, and some desolate areas in the west like the thornbush and cactus deserts of Mexico and southern Texas.”

One possible reason these deer were in Hoboken is probably because of the reduced activity in general. Many more of them are likely surviving due to fewer vehicular accidents.

We wouldn’t be surprised to see more wildlife-sightings going forward. At least till the asinine “lockdown” is terminated. Hopefully, it’s forced by angry residents than simply just slowly removed by these tyrannical politicians.

Sadly, since the demographic is mostly compliant with whatever they say – there is merely a faint chance that anything substantial would arise. There are “freedom” groups out there, but the membership is still too low in dense areas like this to make the required impact.

And why aren’t these stupid mammal wearing masks? Oh yeah – there is no way to financially penalize them for the benefit of corrupt politicians. So why bother.

The deer seem to be social distancing. That is nice.
