Wednesday political SPAM
My Microsoft Outlook 2007 has been a giant pain in my neck lately (indexing is messed up), but it does filter out most of the (very few) SPAM messages that Google Mail seems to miss.
Below are excerpts of some of the messages that it caught.
Spam filter hides anti-Obama messages
So besides the lottery winnings, Real Estate investment seminars, and website link exchange requests – here are some Republican snippits:
- One message from Ann Coulter said to “Obama-proof” your financial portfolio (received on 8/20/2008): “According to CNNMoney.com, Wall Street securities and investment firms have given over $35 million to Democratic candidates this election cycle. And the amount they’ve given to the Clinton and Obama campaigns is nearly five times the amount they’ve given to McCain.
If you’ve been wondering why the financial industry has been in meltdown — and taking your 401(k) or investment portfolio down with it — now you know.
Let’s face it: The former frat boys who populate Wall Street today understand economics about as well as the pinko professors whose courses they snored through.”
- Human Events thinks Obama’s track record would mean that we’d have higher gas prices if he was elected…
- And several emails from Newt – from Obama “waffling” on several issues – to an “open letter to Obama” challenging his position on “change.”
I never see any anti-McCain messages making my inbox OR spam filter. Do they exist? Do you get them?
