Below are some posts published on Hoboken411 the week ending Sunday, November 25, 2018.

Hoboken411 Posts:

  • FAIL: No surprise. The city drops ball for a minor snow event. Issues lame excuses. I guess “inclusiveness” includes Incompetence as well?
  • Virtues: An interesting way to label this current age of humanity. The Age of Gesture.
  • Epidemic: With numbers growing, what role should stupid people play in society?
  • One Day: People panic when things are closed on Thanksgiving. We assume they’re all closed and enjoy the silence.
  • Junk: None of the TRULY necessary things EVER have a Black Friday Sale!
  • Robots: We can’t be the only ones who’ve recognized the homogenized personas peppering the interwebs.

Wake-up quote of the Week:

“Whatever an education is, it should make you a unique individual, not a conformist; it should furnish you with an original spirit with which to tackle the big challenges; it should allow you to find values which will be your road map through life; it should make you spiritually rich, a person who loves whatever you are doing, wherever you are, whomever you are with; it should teach you what is important, how to live and how to die.”
John Taylor Gatto (1935-2018)
