Merry Christmas 2017!

Merry Christmas 2017!

Merry Christmas 2017, everyone!

That is the proper thing to say, is it not?

Our annual “big” holiday of the year, right?

How do you all feel? Loving? Giving? Altruistic?

Merry Christmas 2017 Hoboken NJ

What does it all mean?

As we all exist here on December 25th, 2017 – we’re all essentially “conditioned” to be all loving and caring on this major religious day.

Presents for each of us. And for the children (for those that have kids).

We all planned to “make things great” for those who are important in our lives.

But what does all of this consumerism mean? I mean really. What does the value of a “gift” you give someone on December 25th mean in the long run?

It’s like the Black Friday of connection, to some degree.

How many Christmas Day’s are about love?

What if Christmas was not about gifts or things?

Say it was about love and dedication to other people in your life? (And that is excluding any stupid “charity” causes.)

Just spending TIME with people who long for connection and companionship?

Togetherness, without superficiality – is something that seems to be lost in today’s society.

This Christmas – remember your family and your (true) friends in this world. Dedicate your time and spiritual energy to them.

Godspeed!
