La Casa – Hoboken, NJ – 54 Newark Street
Replacing the doomed Love & Yogurt at 54 Newark Street will be La Casa.
This new Spanish cuisine spot will apparently be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As well as “late night” options for retarded drunks. The previous yogurt place also delved into late-night hours, but that didn’t work out too well.
While we always think the ECONOMY will dictate whether any place survives (i.e., value and satisfaction), it’s quite possible the fact that so many non-Americans exist around liberal cities – that this place may have a hit a sweet spot in terms of “off the books” cash flow.
Everyone else loves preaching and holding politically-correct viewpoints. We don’t.
Heck, when we were unhealthy – we LOVED Spanish food. God, the memories of crunchy tortillas and other artery-clogging foods still haunt us to this day. Even when you are on your game – the thoughts of the dastardly evils of life still frequent your synaptic pathways.
Here’s a business tip for ANYONE attempting to start a new business in 2017 and beyond: SELL WHAT PEOPLE ARE MINDLESSLY ADDICTED TO.
That includes food, technology, and anything else that involves ego, pride or status. You’ll be A-Okay!
Provided this place doesn’t have Instagram photos of rats running in and out – they might survive for a while. Until Moe’s Southwest Grill comes to town…
