Consumer Stampedes

Nothing worse than consumer stampedes in “America”

We’ve all seen our fair share of these completely moronic “consumer stampedes” for crap people don’t need with money they don’t have.

My God.

What gets me the most is – not that these people want these things, this crap they peddle “on sale.”

It’s HOW this culture was created. Why human beings would bludgeon themselves to get some superficial materialistic CRAP is mind-boggling.

Literally stomping on one another for a deep fryer or video device is outright sickening.

None of these people care to learn a new skill, or better themselves. They feel that having some trinket will make their lives better. “All in the name of saving 40%!”

How about saving 100% and not buying any of that crap?

“I want that 4k TV so I can sit IDLE on my stain-ridden sofa so I can be entertained?”

The best question is – HOW DO YOU REVERSE THIS TREND WITHOUT WIDESPREAD DESPAIR?

After years of trying to get deals at some big box stores, we realized there was nothing of value and wasn’t worth the effort.

And thankfully, the online deals are as good if not better than trying to battle the store crowds.

The way you reverse the trend is not easy. It starts will eliminating the marketing which will not happen.

Even though many will dissent and stop shopping there will always be those who fall victim.

Maybe the demise of the financial system is the only way to reset.

Here’s what I don’t get. All those people stampeding have access to the online deals. Why aren’t they using them to avoid such mayhem?

Are they that ignorant as to how to navigate a web app menu? Do they not have credit or debit cards?
