No, not the lead singer of U2, but this cute 10 year old male Chow Chow:

I’m lost, please find me!

We are missing a dog in the area.

His name is Bono, a 10 year old rust brown Chow Chow, when he bolted on the 4th because of the fireworks, he was wearing his collar and is “chipped”.

If found please contact or or call 201 918 1430.

GPS for dogs has been around for a while now. Hunters can use GPS devices that track dogs for 5 miles in heavy brush. For the average dog, however, you can look at Definitely recommended if you have your dog off leash – anywhere.
Bono needed to be “CHIPPED” with LOJACK
LOJACK is going the way of the dodo bird, with two-way GPS based services like OnStar and BMW Assist now taking over.

instead of hoping a cop picks up the signal a car is sending out, the car just ‘phones home’ using the cellular data network and tells them where it is. I think there actually are dog collars with this functionality built in as well that I remember seeing somewhere.
I saw someone walking a dog who looks very similar to Bono yesterday around 6:20pm on 11th right by Maxwell’s. I remember reading this article yesterday but wasn’t sure if it was the same pup. This chow looked a little skinny, so I’m not sure.
What’s so funny about this is you probably saw 411’s very own dog, Oscar! He looks very similar to Bono. Poor baby, I hope they find him.
